Hi everyone,


With more & more videos uploaded on youtube, google video....etc, I thought
that it would be great to have all Hindustani classical and semi-classical videos hosted on just on page instead of browsing trough all the sites while you end up with pepsi vs mentos or cats and dogs.

Thats why I created this site:

The Rules:


Everybody can upload or embed videos from the web, as long as they are related to Hindustani Sangeet. (No registration required - you only need to register in order to rate someones post, anyway, why not become a member?)You can do a direct meta search from my site.
No Boogie Boogie, modern Bhangra, Pop (new era slime) or rock'n roll songs, if you want to post a filmi song, make sure its a non westernized non cheesy one.
Post Hindustani classical such as Khayal, and Thumri, Ghazal, Qawwali,Loke Geet, doesn't matter if its Urdu,Punjabi Khari Bholi, or Brij Basha but keep it from the north of the subcontinent (i.e. no madrasi/carnatic stuff-because that need another page alltogether)
I invite everyone to start posting their findings on Mehfil Tube and spread the news as I just set out 3 days ago......
