so what tips would harmonium users give to me. i basically know the sa re ga ma thats it. n my voice aint that great either.

lol.. you dont seem to be much of a tablaguy.. more of a all-rounding-music-guy..

anywhoo...

try seeing how high your voice can reach on the harmonium.. go 1 point higher and practise that.. same with lowest key..

try stretching your neck as well..

I used to play harmonium for abit....voice is everything i reckon. Practise
holding notes. I wouldn't focus on low notes that much cos I think guys need practise with higher notes.

So press something like G and say it for a whole minute. And then see check if ure voice matches. Do this for all the keys...and then do it without pressing keys. The ones you find more difficult like DNS practise for longer.

Thats the start i reckon. After that you got to practise making your voice merge smoothly from one note to the other. Sing like from your belly if that makes sense rather than from your throat.

Learning to press the noted is easy though!! Plenty of people can do that but once you got the singing your like 80% there i reckon.
